Terms of Service

Last updated: September 27, 2026

These terms govern your use of Split Pay (“the app”), available on the web at https://split-payments.1clickdev.com and as an Android app. By using the app you agree to them.

What the app does

Split Pay helps groups of people record shared trip expenses and calculate who owes whom. It is a bookkeeping aid: calculations are provided “as is”, and final settlements between you and your co-travelers are your own responsibility.

Trip links are the key to a trip

The app has no accounts. A trip lives at a private link containing a random identifier. Anyone who has the link can view and edit the trip, including expenses and attachments. Keep links private and only share them with people you trust — you are responsible for who you share a trip link with.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the app to store or share unlawful content, malware, or other people’s personal data without their permission; not to probe or disrupt the service; and not to use automated tools to create trips or load the service in a way that degrades it for others. We may block abusive traffic or remove content that violates these terms.

Availability and backups

We aim to keep the service running and take backups, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted access, and trip data may be lost or deleted. Keep your own records of anything important. Attachments are size-limited and may be rejected.

Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost data, or disputed settlements between travelers.

Changes

We may update the app and these terms over time; the current terms are always on this page. Material changes take effect when posted.
